Mr Chapfallen

Mr Chapfallen is a abstracted perceptual portrait of a lonely and morose man who can’t quite figure out how he can change his circumstances. I find the emotions of life endlessly fascinating and work to paint emotion in my art. I hope you can feel it.
There may be some people unfamiliar with the term chapfallen, it refers to the jaw or mouth in a fallen or lower position reflecting a physical sign of dejection or being cast down in spirit.
